A new distance learning course launched this month by Home Learning College allows budding bookkeepers to master foundational skills while learning to use Sage 50 accounts – the software of choice for over 800,000 small and medium UK businesses. Successful completion of Computerised Accounting for Business leads to Ofqual accredited level 1 and 2 qualifications from the International Association of Book-keepers (IAB) and Sage UK.
Sage 50 Accounts is designed to help businesses manage their accounts by providing valuable information on customers, suppliers, products and areas of profitability. Along with comprehensive software training, Computerised Accounting for Business students will cover the principles of recording and processing financial transactions, basic costing, VAT, banking procedures and basic business legislation.
