Richard Wilman - Finance Director

Richard joined Home Learning College in September 2005. Previously he was Head of Finance for Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions Ltd where he was responsible for Finance, Credit, Risk and Underwriting.

Whilst at Hitachi, Richard managed corporate assets of £280m and consumer debt of £90m. Richard successfully completed the Sarbanes Oxley project for Hitachi as well as changing the accounting basis for financial reporting to comply with International Accounting Standards.

Before this, Richard held a number of senior roles in large organisations including Invensys Plc and Waitrose Limited. At Invensys, he was responsible for the statutory reporting for the group and cash flow monitoring for all divisions on a weekly basis.

At Waitrose, as well as being responsible for all the financial reporting, Richard played a key role in the integration of the joint venture Ocado, including financial links, systems and processes.
