Level 3 AAT Accounting courses are designed to build on knowledge gained from your previous accounting training, teaching you advanced accounting procedures.
AAT Level 3 courses online teach the advanced skills needed to work as a part-qualified Accounting Technician. If you already understand the basic principles of accounting and bookkeeping and are looking to develop your knowledge and skills, online AAT Level 3 accounting training is the ideal next step.
AAT Level 3 builds on the theory learnt at Level 2 by focusing on more complex accounting tasks, such as the formal preparation of accounts for Sole Traders and Partnerships, and cash management. You will also learn about professional ethics and business law within the accounting sector.
AAT Level 3 accounting training will equip you to handle a wide variety of finance roles, and progress with further study to complete the full AAT Accounting Qualification Pathway.
The course allows you to study from home to become competent with a variety of complex accounting processes, such as recording and accounting for fixed assets; VAT issues in business; ethics and a wide range of advanced spreadsheet tools and techniques.
In completing the AAT Level 3 course you will have achieved Part-Qualified Accounting Technician status and will be well on the way to a successful career in Accountancy.

Our fast-track route helps non-graduates work towards Chartered status more quickly than by following the university path.
Upon completion of the AAT Level 3 Diploma course, you will gain a nationally recognised accredited QCF Qualification (accredited QCF number: 60069089), allowing you to take the next step in your finance career.
The AAT Level 3 Diploma is the penultimate stage of the full AAT Accounting Qualification (AQ2013) pathway and will earn you 160 UCAS points. Over thirty UK universities offer exemptions onto Accounting and Finance related degrees for AAT Professional members, with a qualification at this level.
Upon completion of the full AAT qualification pathway, and with relevant work experience, you can apply for full AAT membership, allowing you to use the letters MAAT after your name.
Completing the full AAT qualification pathway is approximately equivalent to the first year of an honours degree, and is recognised as a non-graduate route into Chartered Accountancy. All UK chartered and certified accountancy bodies - including CIPFA, CIMA, ICAEW, ICAS and ACCA - offer generous exemptions to full AAT members.
After completing AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting, you will be able to apply for roles such as Audit Trainee, Credit Controller, Finance Assistant and Tax Accountant, earning a typical salary range of between £11,000 to £24,000.*
