Pathway Option
Designed to help you fast track your career, our pathway packages combine the courses you need to gain the wider job opportunities and higher earning capacity you want.
With our AAT Intermediate Pathway you can take advantage of AAT Level 2 Certificate and AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting in one course, allowing you to save money on your studies.
The Level 2 Certificate is the first stage of the full AAT Accounting Qualification. Completing levels 2, 3 and 4 is approximately equivalent to the first year of an honours degree and allows you to use the letters MAAT after your name. This level of achievement also secures entry to further study with all the main chartered accountancy bodies. In fact, it's the only professional qualification that allows progression to chartered status and one in twelve chartered accountants started off studying AAT.
By equipping you with practical, hands-on accounting skills the AAT Level 2 Certificate will prepare you for your first specialist accounting role. This could be as a bookkeeper, accounts clerk, company cashier, sales or purchase ledger clerk or trainee financial accounts assistant.
