Prepare accounts for a wider range of businesses
Our Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) Level 3 Professional course develops your understanding of complex financial processes.
You will learn to use bookkeeping for management information purposes, and prepare books for partnerships and limited companies, equipping you for more senior roles and enabling you to establish your own practice.
Covers advanced manual and computerised techniques
Great emphasis is made at Level 3 on interpreting data as well as understanding how businesses use financial information to underpin operational and strategic management.
The course covers a wide range of subjects including depreciation, prepayments, accruals, limited liability companies, installing accounting software and converting from manual to computerised accounts.
You will learn traditional manual bookkeeping methods – such as the 'Double Entry System' – along with computerised techniques using Excel and Sage, the world’s most popular bookkeeping software package.
