Become a whizz in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Over 90% of UK businesses use Microsoft Office to undertake every day functions. This course will show you how to operate the three main Office applications: Word (word processing), Excel (spreadsheets) and PowerPoint (presentations and graphics).
No prior knowledge required
The course starts with the very basics and will teach you to undertake a range of activities including setting up spreadsheets, creating presentations, producing graphs and adding artwork. By the end of the course you will be in a position to take three online exams leading to Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS) status.

Gaining Microsoft Certified Application Specialist (MCAS) status in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, will demonstrate your proficiency in working with these popular applications.
Having completed this course, you can continue your studies in this subject by working towards MOS status in additional applications such as Microsoft Outlook and Access. You could also advance your IT knowledge via our CompTIA Strata course which is designed for a beginner and teaches everything you need to know about operating a PC with confidence.
Almost all office jobs nowadays will require you to have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. With this course under your belt you will be in a position to apply for a wide range of administrative roles earning up to £23,005* per annum.
