Course Overview

The course provides an understanding of the roles and responsibilities of those involved in supporting teaching and learning in schools. It’s aimed at people looking to join the profession, or those already working in a school environment, and provides an opportunity to develop the required skills and knowledge. It prepares you to support the teacher and the delivery of curriculum within a school, as well as developing skills to help children and young people to develop self-esteem, independence and skills for learning. Qualification

The NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools aims to provide progression to the NVQ in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools and also provides progression into employment. You may also progress to achieve HLTA status. The Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools is an ideal qualification for those who wish to consolidate and enhance their knowledge and skills for supporting teaching and learning in schools.  It provides an opportunity for those already working in the sector to formalise their experience through a nationally recognised qualification.

NCFE is one of the UK’s fastest growing national awarding bodies, designing and awarding qualifications that are nationally recognised to meet the needs of learners and employers. The NCFE Level 3 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools has been accredited by the qualifications regulators for England and Wales and is part of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF).
