CompTIA is an international industry recognised professional organisation and this qualification is part of the certification track for corporations such as Microsoft, Hewlett-Packard, Cisco and Novell.

As with all major IT accreditations, CompTIA Certification must be renewed every three years to ensure that knowledge and skills remain up to date with current trends. This can be done via a short bridging exam, through CompTIA’s Continuous Education Programme or by taking the latest full Security+ exam.
