Study Plan
Your course material will cover a wide variety of topics and subjects.
Your MCSE course is split into seven modules (70-290, 70-291, 70-270, 70-299, 70-293, 70-294 and 70-298) and comprises 28 books. The first four modules lead to MCSA certification. Some of the topics covered by the 3 top-up modules leading to MCSE certification are shown below:

Study Details

Each new study topic adds to the knowledge you have already gained, and you should be able to complete the entire course within approximately 280 hours of study.
Each unit in the course module contains 'Review Questions' to help assess your knowledge and understanding. You will also find several associated Qs and As and sometimes, exercises. Complete and review these as you go and submit your replies to your Tutor via the Home Learning College Virtual Learning Community (VLC) website. Completing these assessments, questions and exercises provides valuable feedback as to how your learning is progressing. It will enable your Tutor to offer helpful advice and ensure you're getting the very most from your training.
You may find some units also offer an optional additional learning tool called an 'Independent practice activity'. This is designed to further reinforce and evaluate your learning. However it's not required to complete the course.
