Manage projects from start to finish
As well as gaining a recognised professional qualification, this combined course will teach you to plan and implement Web development projects that meet the needs of end users while underpinning wider business goals.
Learn the theory and the practice
On a practical level, you will start by covering Internet Business Foundations, such as Web browsing and internet security; Site Development Foundations including XHTML coding and ecommerce practices; and Network Technology Foundations including networking servers and security.
The second part of the course comprises Site Development Essentials, such as navigation and usability; Web Design Elements including HTML and CSS; Basic Web Technologies covering the use of Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash; and Advanced Web Technologies including ActionScript, JavaScript and plug-ins.
CIW Web Foundations and Design gives you both the theoretical foundation and practical skills to plan and implement Web development projects .
