Our CIW Web Foundations course is split into three modules, ensuring you receive a solid grounding in all the skills required to undertake and contribute to a range of online design projects.
- Internet Business Foundations introduces Web technology roles and tasks and outlines the skills and technologies required to perform them.
- Site Development Foundations teaches essential Web skills, developing your ability to work as part of a web site development team.
- Network Technology Foundations covers the fundamentals of networking, internet protocols and network security.
The course is split into three modules, ensuring you receive a solid grounding in all the skills required to embark on or progress a career in web development and design.

- Entry requirements: a science-based level 2 qualification and/or marketing, sales, web design or development experience is necessary. You should also be familiar with a Microsoft operating system such as Windows XP and comfortable with most aspects of computer use
