Welcome to the UK’s largest online campus
With over a million visits each month, our Virtual Learning Community (VLC) is the largest online campus in the UK, playing a key role in our students' success.
Upon enrolment you will be invited to attend an online introductory class covering everything you need to know about getting started on your course. These sessions are recorded and made available to download should you wish to access the information at a later date.
Regular live classes are also available via the Virtual Learning Community for some courses. During these interactive lessons the tutor uses web conferencing software to share presentations, notes and handouts on key topics. Participating students can ask questions verbally or through the chat function, and can even point, draw or highlight areas on the interactive screen for further discussion.
Digital versions of your course materials are available to download on the VLC, which means you can access information from any computer with an internet connection. Assignments are submitted to your tutor electronically and your grades will be posted in your personal study area.
You can use the VLC discussion forums to find answers to common questions, or get stuck in and discuss course topics or offer a helping hand to fellow students. There’s also a busy student lounge where you can take part in quizzes and get to know the rest of the Home Learning College community.

Our students tell us that the VLC makes them feel part of a wider group, allowing them to share knowledge and get the most from their learning experience.
If you want to take a look you can as a guest for an online campus tour. Once you've enrolled on your course you'll be able to interact with fellow students, access key learning materials, new insights, podcasts, tutorials, join in group discussions and much, much more.
