When you have completed the AAT Level 2 & 3 Diploma (Advanced) course you will gain your qualification and achieve the status of a Part-qualified Accounting Technician. This is really valuable for your CV and LinkedIn profile.

All the vital skills and knowledge you have learnt throughout the AAT Level 2 & 3 course will set you up perfectly for a mid-level finance role. This expertise will qualify you for roles including Credit Controller, Accounts Officer or Accounts Assistant.

But your career opportunities don’t need to end here – progressing to the Level 4 Diploma (Professional) really extends your job prospects and earning potential. Completing the AAT pathway is approximately equivalent to the first year of an honours degree and allows you to use the letters MAAT after your name and to go on to study with British Chartered Accountancy bodies such as the ACCA. AAT is the only professional qualification that allows progression to Chartered status from entry level.
